Information on changes affecting certification
CERTIFICATION CHANGES, SUSPENSION, CANCELLATION, SCOPE ADJUSTMENT
1. Changes affecting certification
Nomun EcoCert LLC will formally notify the client in the event of changes to the certification scheme, standards, or legal requirements and monitor the implementation of the changes.
The client is responsible for implementing these changes in accordance with the contract.
2. Changes caused by the client
If changes in the client’s operations or new information obtained by the certification body are considered to have a potential impact on certification, Nomun EcoCert LLC will conduct the following assessments:
Determine the impact of the changes
Perform additional audits and additional assessments, if necessary
Notify the client and take appropriate action. This may include: reducing the scope, suspending or revoking the certificate, etc.
3. Decision to suspend, revoke, or terminate
A certificate may be suspended, revoked, or terminated in the following circumstances:
Failure to meet standard requirements during maintenance, monitoring, verification, or surprise audits
Failure to fulfill contractual obligations
False information provided
Customer refuses to undergo audit
Risk violations detected
In the event of suspension, revocation, or termination:
Certificate and mark use shall be terminated
Publicly available information shall be updated
The customer shall undertake not to mislead the public
4. Scope extension or reduction
If there is a change in scope:
Extension:
Additional products/services shall be assessed and audited.
A renewed certificate shall be issued if the requirements are met.
Reduction:
The non-compliant part of the standard shall be removed from the scope.
A renewed certificate shall be issued and the changes shall be clearly noted.
5. Reinstatement of suspension
Once the reason for suspension has been eliminated:
Re-evaluation and analysis will be conducted
If necessary, a detailed certification audit will be conducted
Reinstatement of the right to use the certificate and mark
Update of publicly available information
